Love-Live-Learn resources draw on the Steiner Waldorf threefold approach to learning: enabling the pupils to form an emotional connection with the subject (love), try out practical applications (live) and through this reach a holistic intellectual understanding. I have been a Steiner Waldorf Class Teacher for over 20 years. I have developed these resources for use in my Steiner Waldorf school classroom. They have all been fully tested by eager, smiley-faced children!

Needs Cards for the Classroom

(0)
Designed for Restorative Approaches Circle Practice: create a Class Needs Agreement for pupil-led positive behaviour management and relationship building. These can also be used to support Restorative Conversations and conflict resolution. Use these cards to help your students identify their needs: Pupils ask the question: “What do I need from my classmates to do my best in school?” Then choose 6 needs cards. They can work in small groups to choose 6 cards that they all agree on and then bring the class back together to choose 6 needs for the whole class. For each need the class write an agreement: “We agree to… by…” detailing how they agree to meet each other’s needs. On the back of each card there is a short explanation of each need. (Print double sided flip on short edge.)
